A Tribute to Nitai

In loving memory of Nitai das (Elisha Drury), founder of Krishna Kitchen, who passed away on January 31, 2012. Nitai originally started his project as Krishna Camp in 2006 when he and his crew were working hard to bring delicious vegetarian food to festival goers at Burning Man and various Rainbow Gatherings. Then in 2007 Krishna Kitchen emerged as a professional organization dedicated to providing healthy, gourmet vegan food. Nitai enthusiastically devoted all of his energy to Krishna Kitchen year round. His good-natured, friendly countenance and sociable personality endeared him to the many people with whom he worked.
He will be dearly missed by all of his acquaintances, friends and loved ones.
